The major challenge I faced in knitting this baby slippers was picking up the 29stitches on each needle from the  base sole.Try to choose few stitches from one row before the edges also For those who love to try this baby slippers, please pick the stitches properly...Also, I would recommend to use circular needles to get a neat finish.. I used pointed needles that's why the top cover looks little clumsy..

Tiny booties..

Though I knew Crochet, I was never perfect. It was not proper. So I started learning all the types of stitches and made this simple bookmark as my first start.

The pattern is very simple.
Chain stitches(I dont remember how many).
Double Crochet 3 rows.
Half double crochet the border.

The little flower was my own idea. Don't know how far it suits that lil bag. But I like to keep testing.

Baby Cap

Picture
This cap was knitted for Shravan. When I heard they are visiting Chicago, I immediately started knitting this cap. I didn't have any specific pattern for this cap. I just kept knitting on a circular needle and when I felt the length of the cap was ok, i started reducing the size. Infact I crochet to finish the cap. One thing is I finished knitting it in a day.
